The founding question was direct: how could a sender be generous without having to predict another person's tastes? Elisabeth Vezzani and Leslie Lyon founded Sugarwish in 2012. Their recipient-choice format started with candy before widening into 15+ gift categories.
The documented scale now extends well beyond the first category. Its reported reach includes more than 2 million gifts, more than 50,000 companies, and participation from 70% of the Fortune 500.
